Question which one is faster stock: 03' gti vr6 or 1.8t?

hy, I am new and I am planning to buy one of this two cars. I know the 1.8t is easier to mod, but i want to know which one is faster stock.

VR6 is faster stock. There is no argument there, that's how it is. Period. (in case random people try to say different)

Re: which one is faster stock: 03' gti vr6 or 1.8t?

one's a 5 speed, one's a 6 speed. There is obviously extra upshift in the 0 to 60 of the Vr6, hence the slower 0 to 60. It's a good thing that numbers don't tell the whole story, or I'd feel stupid. Buuuuuut... I don't.
