I just changed the guages in my 2000 Accord. It's pretty easy to do over all but it took me a long time since I had never done it before and to rewire everything and put the plastic back on with out dirt and shit all over it. If you still need help ask and I'll try to tell you how I changed them because I couldn't find a site for it either.

natitus, I just need some help getting to the gauges. I can't figure out how to get all the plastic stuff aroud them off. If you have any suggestions on how to get to them that would help me a lot.

I'm confused as to what plastic stuff you're talking about? I just put new gauges in my 94 Accord EX, it was quite simple, but be careful when working around the gas gauge; I broke my gas gauge and had to put a new one on. There should be 6 clips that hold the top plastic peice on the base. Try that...

Wink

Alright, this will be my attempt to explain how to change them for 1998-02 Accords. I know a lot of you out there can do this a lot easier and know how to do theses things in minutes but I went in blind so give me a break.
1. First you remove the two screws up top
2. Then the plastic (black) around the edge of the gauges will come loose with moderate force (ie pull hard and hope you dont break it)
3. Now you will be able to see into the dash compartment and you can see 4 screws holding the how cluster to the car. Unscrew and pull the cluster out just a little since there will be wires connected to the top of the cluster. There are three big wire harnesses so remove them and the whole cluster can be removed from the car
4. Now you will just have the clear platic that protects the guages and then the bezel underneath that. There are a bunch of clips around the side that will let the clear plastic part come off.
5. Take it off and then the bezel will come off easily.
6. Now you can put the guages on (DONT TRY TO REMOVE THE NEEDLES)
7. Wire the guages then put back in reverse order.

If you need further help hit me back. Hope it helps someone out there!
