I absolutely destroyed a V6 Cougar on the way home to lunch today from a 2nd gear roll from a light. It was some girl driving who gunned it a couple times then dropped back.. on the 3rd time I shot forward with her, caught up, and saw headlights in my mirror. I got up to about 70 or so in a 45, just enough to pop into third gear for a second, and shut it down. She goes flying by me honking her horn and waving like a stupid little girl..

Same goes for the new tiburons. I saw one recklessly dodging through traffic like Speed Racer(not the guy on here asking about 3000 diff. types of cars) and wanted to have a little fun with him, but I didnt feel like running redlights and cutting people off just to catch up. My time will come.

It's a good thing I don't have a "GIRL RACER" in my town otherwise I'd go crazy myself.

I don't know much about the engine in those cars. But, from what I've seen, they don't pack much of a punch.

if your refering to the GT tiburon, they have a puny ass V6 only putting out 200 hp, and thats a factory ratind so you know its knowwhere around there to the ground. my friend has one and he wont race me yet....i wanna smoke him so bad

honestly a race w/ the tib, it'd be close for ur gsr. a buddy of mine w/ a celica gt-s (ran 14.9 at the track) only pulled a car on one, so it'd be a GOOD race for the gsr.

If you feel your GS-R is as fast as stock RSX-S, then you'll be fine against a stock Tibby GT. Against a modded one, however, it's up to whoever spent more money.

Although you might wanna know that basic bolt-ons have been known to add up to 30whp on the V6 Tibbys, and that the same publications that rate the Tibby at 15.5, rated your GS-R at 15.7 stock.

Oh, before I forget, the V6 Tibby only has 170HP, not 200, but has 177ft-lbs of TQ, with an over-all curb-weight of 3023lbs.
