Question 99 explorer with Rear window wiper problem

My 99 explorer's rear window wiper is loose and wiping only part of the window. How do I get the interior plastic frame off so I can repair the wiper mountings?

Re: 99 explorer with Rear window wiper problem

1. Lift the liftgate handle ( strap) to acsess liftgate screws and the liftgate handle.
2. Remove the liftgate trim panel screw access plug.(The plastic trim, around the black pull knob that's used to manually lock liftgate)
3. Remove the screw in the hole.
4. Remove the liftgate door trim panel.
a). Use Windshield and Molding/Trim Removal Kit to remove the liftgate door trim panel from the liftgate window opening.
b). Push the liftgate door trim panel toward the top of the liftgate and remove the liftgate trim panel.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
