Talking DVD Player sound help needed

Hello all, i just got my trailblazer ltz a month or two ago and can't figure out how to get the dvd player sound to go through the main speaker system so that headphones are needed. Is this possible? or is the only way to hear the sound from the dvd player is that of the wireless headphones? Thanks for the help Andy

if you have a 2003 Trailblazer you cant listen to the DVD system thru the steror speakers.
But if you have a 2004 you can by pressing a button on the radio.
Not sure which button it is but it is in the manual I found it the other day while taking a test drive of a 2004.

I have an 02 with the same problem..what I did was installed a FM modulator behind the head unit and ran wires out to the headphone jacks behind the DVD player...works great!!!

Re: DVD Player sound help needed

It's factory in a 2004? Nuts, that might have swung me to get an 04 instead of an 03. Too bad for me.

Re: DVD Player sound help needed

They should have done it to begin with. I'm pretty happy with my 03 LTZ though.
