Noise behind dash.

I just purchased a 2000 Cherokee Sport and there is some wind nosie behind the dash that is very annoying. My buddy has a 99 and no noise at all. Any clues as this is quite annoying. Thanks,

Todd

Re: Noise behind dash.

in the fire wall there is wires and cordes that run through it. there are rubber gromets to stop the the sharp edges from cuting the wires and cordes. maybe one of these has rotted away or has a crack in it. a quick fix when you find it is to put some silicone in the hole to fill the space or crack. hope this helps
