I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee bad transmission with wrong torque converter I am tryin to re-assemble anothers project. I have read about the problems associated with the 42 re and want to install a AW4, I also can get a AW4 for a very reasonable price. Can someone tell me if the harness will match and the computer will work just the same? The Jeep is a 1993 Grand Cherokee 2wd 4.0l. Thanks in advance for any input!

aw4 was on early 4wd. been told aw4 is electronic one. very expensive.
don't see why it wouldn't swap though. let us all know hopw turns out
