Does anyone know how much it costs to open a performance garage, and also have any tips on doing it. Im looking into opening a garage in florida, but dont know much about the prices of it, any help?

well..... if you're an average guy like im guessing you are, you could be in trouble. The expenses you would have to look into-

-Rent or property insurance for the plot you want to have the garage on.
-Small business loan
-If you're hiring, you have to pay people to do the work..to be competetive most decent tecs make around 60-70,000 dollars a year...that's if you want someone who knows what they are doing...
-The cost of shop supplies(ie..Lifts, machining tools, basic install machines)
-Basic bills like a/c, electricity, water...Guessing you dont need heating in FLA.
-Prolly need computers, scan tools, data machines
-If you want to be good you would need a dynamometer(dyno)
-Janitor


Just to name a few things, estimated there you're looking at.....prolly around $300,000 for a well run shop.
