I did a search and found nothing for remote garage door, so hear I go.
I followed the instructions per the manual and still cant get it to work. I get all the tell tail blinks like it says in the maual, but I cant get it to work.
Hey road, i feel your pain. i been trying to program my 2003 to open the garage door since day one and i cant figure it out. I have followed the directions and still no luck. caulk it up to man. defect
I just bought a 2004 Trailblazer and finally got it to work. Tried manual instructions several times and it eventually worked. I pressed both outside buttons at same time until it began to flash rapidly. Then I held remote garage door opener about 2 inches from buttons and pressed to activate door. Nothing happened yet! Instructions say you may have to press programming button on main garage door motor controller. My wife then pressed a green button on the main garage door motor where you do adjustments (up / down) and I pressed right button on overhead remote in blazer and it was programmed. Still sounds confusing but have you tried pressing the training button on door motor and immediately press either of the buttons on overhead console?
I suffered with mine for a while, too. All I can say is take your time and read through the directions first so you know what has to happen in each step. It took me a couple tries but I finally got it.
Never had a problem with the Homelink garage door openers, as I've had them on my past 4 vehicles.
If you have code changing garage door opener, you will have to have your garage door opener relearn your programmed built in Homelink transmitter.
