I need your honest opinion. I don't want to get laughed at if I get one

Yes, but...
I have a cool silver Cabriolet, that with some mods could look manly, but yes, it is a girl car. Specifically a CHEERLEADER CAR. I am a female. There is an older man at work with 1, but he's so old that you don't question his status. My Husband will drive it to the grocery store, rarely. I always laugh when he drives it, it's so cute. I called a charity in DC, I plan to donate mine. It's too crazy in the summer, it enjoys being towed. You may have seen mine on cardomain.com. With wheels etc, you'll be straight.

Chick car. And I just bought an 89 Cabriolet. But my Suburban has more than enough manliness to spare.

You have no idea what you're talking about. I have a 91' cabrio and girls can't wait for me to take them for a ride.
Does it really matter if some people think it's a chick car? No, who cares what others think. I love my ride and I laugh at the guys who have these huge gas guzzlers and a lack of girth between there legs. All of us know that these cars are very cool and knowing's half the battle.

Re: Is a Cabriolet a chick car?
No, and depends on how you drive it (top up or down). Stock yes, tastefully modded, I wouldn't say that.
