Anybody installed P235/45/17 tires on the oem 17", 7"wide wheels??
I am concerned about clearance, suspension, and wheel size issues.
Are there any problems?
I am looking for better handling and better launches over the crap oem tires. Thanks!!

its same size as 04 TL has, and they would fit in fender well, but there is problem. and problem is rims, they're 7" wide and 7.5" wide rims are required to properly mount 235 wide tires.

I got an '02 accord v6. I have 17*8 rims and 215/50/17 tires. I perviously tried putting in 235/45/17 but the back tires rubbed. But again, that depends on the offset of the rim. Mine is high. Theoretically, it is possible to stick 235's in there without rubbing but your offset has to be right. I am guessing 03 and 04 accords have a wider fender well and can easily accomodate larger tires and rims. Also, larger rims and tires SLOW your launch time. More weight. I definitely felt it when I switched from the stock 205/65/15.
