2003 tahoe

Hello I have a 2003 Tahoe that has an electricial problem, it has been in for service several times. It always checks out finr but then after it sits for longer than 24 hours it is dead.. Anyone else had this problem, it seems like a short somewhere. If so any help would be greatly appreciated. It is at the dealer again today and if they find the issue I will post the results.

Re: 2003 tahoe

hello I have found the tsb number for this issue. The tsb or recall number is 02066 and the fix is to re-program the BCM. The serial numbers for the tahoe with this issue is 3r1000009-3r181251 made in the arlington plant and 3j100001-3j179899 made in the janesville plant. This also effected vehicles with stable control ride such as cadiallac, suburban, and some pickups.

Wiring harness short on power driver seat. Wire was fraid from the seat moving forward and backward. The signs are 20 every 20 seconds the short would pulse and kill the battery overnight. Issue is fixed, This vehicle was under warranty and had less than 15,000 miles when the issue started.

Re: 2003 tahoe

Is the battery dead or just no power to the starter?
