ford expedition air suspension

I have a 99 Ford Expedition with air suspension. The system has raised the expedition to the max. I have taken it to two mechanics who indicate that they cannot fix it or find anything wrong. The problem originated when I had two tires replaced. The book says to turn the air suspension off when replacing tires, which the tire dealer did not do. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. The problem exists with the suspension "on" or "off" and the suspension never lowers itself.

Thanks for any info.

I don't have a definitive answer to your question only suggestions. Whenever they put mine on the lift, they turn it off. Have you tried to jack it up with a floor jack with the suspension turned off and leave it that way for a while? You might even disconnect the battery while its in the air. If that doesn't work, you might try moving the sensors manually lower it. Since I have not actually done these things, I can't tell you the outcome nor can I be held accountable for any of the aftermath. However, if it works, I'd be happy to take credit for it. Good Luck.

Expedition air suspension is problematic in general

Sounds like the air suspension is problematic in general - although we don't show any complaints specifically with the 1999, there's 3 with the 2000 & 1 for the 1998
