Hello

I've got a 1995 GC 5.2L auto quadratrac.

The viscous clutch has been out for awhile, now once in awhile it stops abruptly when backing out of a parking space. Like you have hit a curb. Do you suppose that the transfer case belt could be loose enough that it is locking up? Or other suggestions?

Also, can the belt and viscous clutch be changed by splitting the transfer while it is in the jeep, or does the transfer pulled out.
