2003 Honda Truck
I've heard various rumors that Honda will be coming out with a Full Size Pickup Truck for the 2003 model year. It is supposedly going to be larger than the Toyota Tundra, and is said to be powered by either a GM motor or a variation of the new Acura NSX V-8. Does anyone have any info or insight on this matter?

"...2003 Honda Pickup: Yes, pickup. Following Toyota's lead, Honda will compete in the pickup arena with a truck reported to be larger than the Tundra. Given the recent announcement that Honda will be supplying V-6 engines to GM, it would seem natural for the General to reciprocate with V-8s for this U.S.-built pickup...."

Thats been around for a while, there are some other mainstay websites that make similiar claims. I'm looking for someone who has some real info on the subject.

that would be good, but I think that they should make a truck, but not a fullsized truck.

Q. What is the most Popular type of vehicle in the American market?
A. Full Size Pickup Truck
Honda needs to come out with a truck. Look at the success of the CRV and Acura MDX, yes they are both SUV's, but if Honda could come out with a truck I'm sure it would be nothing short of a complete hit with the US public. Look at the Toyota Tundra and the success its had, its sales figures have tripled what was originally planned. I'm sure there are alot of Honda faithfuls that would trade their Tundra's or Big 3 trucks in for a Honda truck.

I was thinking about that too, yes full size trucks are high demand. But what kind of "truck driving, manly man" is going to want to buy a full size truck from a company that has never made a truck before and is known for selling little economy cars. Personally, I wouldn't. That's why I was thinking they should make a smaller truck like the toyota sr5 or something of that sort. Just my thoughts though.
