1998 Camaro

I purchased a 1998 Camaro for my daughter. When it rains, the front passenger side leaks water and it collects under the floor mat not on the mat itself. I can't find the leak neither can the local chevy dealer. Has anyone had this problem?

Im sorry Mr. Baggins but I cant help ya. Just kidding, are you sure that your weather stripping is ok? Maybe you could take it threw the power washer at your local car wash. When your in their, inspect everywhere you could find a leak. This is what I would to find your mysterious leak.

Re: 1998 Camaro

does it have T-tops???? if it does, hope you enjoy being wet no joke, they always leak, you can try replaceing the weather stripping, but it will only fix it for a while. the leak always comes back. gotta love mass production

Well if you want to find where the exact location of the leak is, your going to have to get a little wet.

Re: 1998 Camaro

There is a rubber grommet on the firewall that comes in underneath the dash on the passenger side. Look down in the engine bay and see if there are any holes in the firewall that are not covered. Also, there should be a plug on the floor under the carpet on the passenger side. Look directly below where the water is building up to see if the plug is missing.
