Hey all, I have a 1991 Mazda Navajo (Ford Explorer) and I'm having engine lifter noises, is this a big problem or nothing much to worry about? I was also told that I need to replace my water pump soon, any idea how much that'll cost?

Regards,

a Remanufactured Water Pump Costs Anywhere Up To 80 Dollars For This Vehicle, Installed Your Looking At About 100 - 150 For The Water Pump Depending On Who Puts It On For You, But If You Know Your Way Around An Engine And You Can Remove All 12 Bolts, Take Off The Belt And Put Everything On Yourself You Should Be Able To Do It Yourself, On The Other Hand If You Aren't Sure About Yourself And You Have No Experience Near A Vehicle I Would Let A Mechanic Handle It, As Far As Your Lifters, Why Are You Replacing Them, What Type Of Noises Is Your Engine Making, And If You Are Changing Your Lifters Are You Also Changing Your Camshaft, Peace
