KATAZ 01-01-2004, 05:43 PM first Of All Make Sure That Your Oil Levels Are Ok And In The Normal Levels, Then Afterwards Make Sure That Your Oil Guages Are Reading Normal For Your Oil, If Not Then The Problem Might Be That You Have To Replace Your Oil Pressure Switch, Or You Might Have To Replace The Oil Pump, The Oil Pressure Switch Costs About 3-5 Dollars For The Switch, Your Dashboard Displays The Oil Light Because Your computer picked up on a sensor error, Make Sure All The Levels of oil Are normal And That The Pressure Is Normal If So Your Light Will Turn Off, If It Turns On Again it is because your computer Is Reading An Error, that means You Should Take It And Have It Read For Code Errors, You Should Take A Oil Light serious Because That Can Lead To Alot Of Engine Failure, including engine replacment, Peace edwardsnj1 01-01-2004, 10:52 PM first Of All Make Sure That Your Oil Levels Are Ok And In The Normal Levels, Then Afterwards Make Sure That Your Oil Guages Are Reading Normal For Your Oil, If Not Then The Problem Might Be That You Have To Replace Your Oil Pressure Switch, Or You Might Have To Replace The Oil Pump, The Oil Pressure Switch Costs About 3-5 Dollars For The Switch, Your Dashboard Displays The Oil Light Because Your computer picked up on a sensor error, Make Sure All The Levels of oil Are normal And That The Pressure Is Normal If So Your Light Will Turn Off, If It Turns On Again it is because your computer Is Reading An Error, that means You Should Take It And Have It Read For Code Errors, You Should Take A Oil Light serious Because That Can Lead To Alot Of Engine Failure, including engine replacment, Peace Thank you very very much!!! it seems that my oil level is fine and that I am using the appropriate oil...It just likes to turn on and off.
