Talking 91' Camarro RS

me and my dad have a 91 camaro RS we have already taken the stock engine out and we want to put a crate engine in it whats a good website with good customer service and a good selection of engines. we also want to put new headers on it and probably a new exhaust system. and is there anyway to convert it to manual by like getting a new trannie or something? any help would b greatly appreciated thanks in advNCE

jegs is good. i would look at GMperformance. a good distributor is www.SDPC2000.com they also have a good tech help staff i have gotten answers from. as far as modifying the car from auto to manual, its really not that hard, but youll have to install the clutch, master and slave cylinder and linkage. but the manual will bolt right in i believe, i dont think it uses a different mount. but i could be wrong. youll also have to change the driveshaft, because i think the manual trans is shorter than the automatic, and requires a longer driveshaft. but that is for the T-5 trans, if you wanted a six speed like a T56 or something, you would have to do some modifications that i am not fully up to date on. you can also try www.thirdgenresource.com, and www.yearone.com, year one is mostly restoration parts, but i think they also carry the kits for six speed installations and whatnot. but dont quote me on that.
