my wife has a 2001 passat gls 1.8t. There have been various problems with it, and it is gone come june, but I was wondering if this particular model year has any leanings that would suggest there is a defect in brake rotors. last service we had, the dealer told us all 4 were warped and would need replacement. this seems ridiculous, since the car only has 30,000 some odd miles on it. my wife does not kill the brake pedal, while driving. we decided that we were not about to shell out 600 bucks for new rotors on a leased vehicle. Was this dealer smoking crack when he suggested this is NORMAL wear? Discuss....
