HEEELPPPP!!!!! I can't believe this thread is not here!!! Actually..it's probably been done b4...but I'm too new to know.

Has anyone purchased a good aftermarket cupholder that will fit in the 1991-97? g20's? Preferably I would like one that attaches to the middle vents so that I can have a drink as well as the passenger. but if that's not available...then let me know what you're using (or have tried that didn;t work....)

I heard from someone that an Audi dealer has aftermarket cupholders that can fit in ours. I dunno where in the car the would go, but I just read from a car site online that the might have some. check it out if your in desprite need :flamer:

i just use the middle cousule thing .... haha its gehto but it works when i need a place to put that shit

I remember hearing about this on the se-r mailing list last year. I think the cupholder many people used was from the 96-98 passat. People said it was great and could hold even huge cups.

It was mounted next to the center console where the passengers feet go just ahead of the seat. You have to drill two holes into the center console to mount it. It even folds out of the way when not in use.

It got rave reviews from people who got it, in fact I might try to get one today. My girlfriend hates having to hold her drink as we drive, I don't know how she'll feel about giving up legroom though. ;)

haha, cupholders huh? yeah, i have a 95 g20t and i purchased one called "the octupus". Its black, and sits snuggly in between the seats and above my parking break.

thats why we have significant others ...let them hold the drinks .....a girl always feels better when they are useful ...
