The options are almost endless. YZ125rider21 01-01-2004, 05:14 PM to be a daily driver....and run around 11's maybe 10's... with 20 lbs of boast when i racing and 6 lbs daily driving with a 100 shot nos top of boast trying to find a turbo that i can get for my b20 vtec to fit in a crx Ace$nyper 01-01-2004, 05:32 PM *blows self up* HondaIntegraXSI 01-01-2004, 06:01 PM 100 hp shot w/ 20 psi for under 10k hahahahaha Spectre927 01-01-2004, 08:24 PM You'll need to take out the entire interior. Do you think 20lbs will do it? Will you have fat racing slicks or some street slicks or just regular tires or what? YZ125rider21 01-01-2004, 08:58 PM i have some full lsicks already i just shoot for an 11 my goal on full car weight only track well tell me what i run Smokn91HB 01-05-2004, 06:32 PM yeah dude, your gonna need to built a very strong block for that. i wouldnt count on 10s unless you have a very fat stack of cash that would probally not be a very good daily driver either... your gonna need some nice forged rods, good forged pistons and def. would resleeve the block if i were you if your talking on running 20 psi. or so ... that would be a good start. YZ125rider21 01-05-2004, 08:16 PM oi have arias pistons 8.5-1 and golden eagle resleaving my block as we speak and are boring it 20 over still deiciding on what brand of forged rods to go with...money not a problem right now jsut gonna poor it into the motor before summer comes around..that way i set for summer boosted331 01-05-2004, 09:41 PM When you say .020 over do you mean 84.5MM or 81.5MM YZ125rider21 01-06-2004, 12:46 AM its a b20b4 so 84.5 edman24 01-06-2004, 01:08 AM i suggest crower or eagle rods. the h-beam crowers are unbreakable. 11's are possible but unlikely depending on how your motor can handle it. you need at least 450hp on a full weight civic to hit 11's and thats not easy to get. YZ125rider21 01-06-2004, 08:13 AM thanks man for the info YZ125rider21 01-07-2004, 12:19 AM [QUOTE=edman24]i suggest crower or eagle rods. the h-beam crowers are unbreakable.[QUOTE] Just wanted say...nothing unbreakable..... :banghead: i was doing some research before i fork out 5 hundred for rods and found out crower has a bigger turn over rat for deffect rods than eagle so i gonna go with eagle H beam rods.... :iceslolan darkerdayz 01-07-2004, 02:08 AM is it safe to have such a drastic change in boost like that...6 psi daily and 20 @ the track? YZ125rider21 01-07-2004, 07:04 PM sure long as your motor built for it edman24 01-08-2004, 02:35 AM never heard of that defect but then again im not a large buyer of crower rods. the fact that there is a temporary defect is totally irrelevant. the crower h-beam rods are known to be some of the best in the business and are used in some of the most powerful cars on the street. want something even better? try pauter or fullrace rods. you can check out the full-race kit and other turbo products on their site. hands down this is the best turbo kit i have ever seen. it doesnt include everything and isnt cheap, but it is very high quality and has sooo much potential its not even funny. website for full-race www.full-race.com YZ125rider21 01-08-2004, 06:06 PM thanks man for the info those are some big Freaking turbos...lol Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
