window motor replacement problem
Replaced pass door elec window motor 87 325 today.
Window goes up and down but will stop 1/2" from top of door.
We can push the window up into the top of the channel but the motor won't engage to bring it down. allen wrench won't work either.

Hmm,
I would be suspect that the window regulator is hosed.
That may be the reason the electric motor failed.
Not a repairable item.
I would scout a bone yard, salvage yard, for a donor.
