Datsun ---> Ferrarienzo@af 04-16-2001, 10:59 AM I love this kit. I mean, I LOVE IT. Why? First of all, it is fairly simple and fairly cheap. Secondly, it (almost) capture the beauty of the classic Ferrari 250 GTO. Sure, it isn't a perfect match, but it's gorgeous nonetheless. The kit comes from a company called thunder ranch. It's built for a datsun 240, 260, 0r 280 Z car, and only requires minor alterations to the base car. http://24.4.88.29/review/0002/GTO_33.jpg Also, there are plenty of V8 conversions on the market for Datsun Z's, so don't think this only packs the looks. There is also a 250 GTO convertible on the market, but it really looks like a cheap imitation. GTO-TT/Chev57 04-16-2001, 02:24 PM Hi, how about this mx5 to z3 GTO-TT/Chev57 04-16-2001, 02:27 PM The mx5 z3 enzo@af 04-16-2001, 02:58 PM Yeah, I've seen those kits too. There's an LPG equiped 240Z running around Auckland with a simlar kit on it. It does look nice. especialy from the back. That MX5 into a Z3 is just silly. I mean why? you could buy a cheap 1.9l Z3 for the cost of the MX5 and the kit, and getting it fitted, and painted. tanjwarrior 12-05-2001, 10:20 AM The Ferrari kits for Datsun 240-280 Z's have been around for over twenty years. They don't quite look completely like the real thing because of nose length and the windshield/roof lines. But when done they are awesome looking! http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/boot/66/17465720.jpg kicker1_solo 12-13-2001, 06:31 PM my friend has a '62 250 GTO built on a datsun frame with a datsun 6 cyl. It is one of the sweetest kits I have ever seen. :) Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
