Re: 1965 Chevy El Camino LOWRIDER
ya it comes with a tach, but i won't be using it on this kit cuz its going to be a lowrider. I will probably use it on a import or my camaro.

I can't seem to get the pics to work. I right clicked, got the properties and pasted that and it still doesn't work.

Yeah a lowrider with a nice tach like that would be pretty odd. I like your dual exhaust. Did you know, you can use extras to make it like the 69' and 70' el camino. Also, did yours come with the optional
'camper top'?

Re: 1965 Chevy El Camino LOWRIDER
thank you for your comments!
And yes it came with a camper top but the instructions are kind of hard and it doesnt show all the parts that came with the kit.
(ex:The camper comes with a door and in the instructions it doesnt even mention it anywhere)

You find that sometime in the older reissued kits, what you got were the extras from another issue. BONUS!!!!!! You can get some great parts box stuff that way

Re: Re: 1965 Chevy El Camino LOWRIDER
Since it's a reissue it doesn't come with a list of options, like the crappy 2piece glue together drag slicks. funny, this kit can be a drag car (optional dual carb setup, with headers) stock, or a camper truck. BTW, I used pieces of the camper to make hood scoops, and amps.

AMPS! Thats a good idea! i was planning on throwing them away. And im working on a couple of other lowriders, that would be helpful.
But how did you make hood scoops?
