Got a problem, I have a 2000 neon auto 2.0l. Lately my car seems to have lost is quick acceleration it use to have. Now I sometimes have to floor the throttle for it to get up and it still seems weak. Also on mornings when I turn the car on it starts up really shaky then smooths out, it never use to do this.Oh yeah one more question can a drag race do this to a car, cause I raced one dude. Can any one help me thanks alot!!

hey dude i got one like yours and mine did that too for a while but it stopped... i think. i may have taken it somewhere( it was a while back). cold weather does this kinda thing to mine in the mornings, but it doesnt shake. try checking spark plugs and wires. thats all i can tell you. good luck

Yeah,sounds like plugs and/or wires. How many miles are on your car? Changed my plugs twice since I got the car (2000 Neon). It has about 105,000 miles on it now. Changed the wires about 1000 miles ago...runs a lot better.
