i'm the ex-owner of a 92 mx-3 I4 5-speed.. i really liked it even though it had no balls

i felt the same way about my 94 mx-3 until i did a motor swap. now it's a totally different car.

Tell me about this motor swap. I"m a honda man myself and I have been bitten by the mazda bug because of my girlfriends protege. How can you give the protege or mx3 some balls?

i swapped out my motor for a j-spec 1.8t out of the japenese mazda 323 gtx. what year protege do you have?

One of my gay friends says his mx-3 can get up to 160 and could beat my Civic b16a with GSR head...so could i know what the mx-3 runs 1/4 miles? thanks

does he have a 4cyl or v6? either way, if he doesn't have a motor swap or a serious power adder(turbo, s/c, nitrous) you'll eat him up. the 92-93 SOHC 4cyl had 88hp, the 94+ 4cyl had 115 hp, and all v6's had 132 hp

I believe he has the 115 hp one...and all he has is a piece of shiz intake and a muffler. I think that car runs 17.68.

then you got it in the bag. tell him he needs to do a motor swap with the j-spec 1.8 bpt from the japanese 323 gtx.

where can i get a j spec 1.8 bpt, and how much, or would it be better to turbo charge or add nos to my 94, its only got like 70k orig. mi., all i did was add cold air custom intake, and i can scratch 2nd pretty good. thats what i love about it being so light. which do u thinks better the swap or the other..........btw its a 94 1.6 liter dohc
