Unhappy volkswagon gti daytime driving lights

my driving lights don't work,, fusses are good ,,are there relays hidden some where ?????

which year are you talking about, MK? Did you buy it used? perhaps someone disabled it to save the life of his or her bulbs.

it's a 1999 she bought it new they have been working untill last sat.. i beleive it's a relay some where, her book doesn't show all the relays..

Sounds like your right, unfortunately I'm not sure about those relays either. Try calling your local dealer, Hopefully you can get some help from them.

I assume your headlights work normally (high & low beam). First check fuse #5 (7.5 Amp) that powers the DRL relay. Next note if the park brake light on the dash is working correctly, if not check the small switch at the base of the handle (it should be a closed circuit w/park brake applied). If all those check okay then I'd try the relay which is on the relay panel under the dash. It is relay position #8, second row from the top, second from left.
