ST-185 Castrol Rally Car?Future Boy 12-11-2003, 08:12 PM I'm looking for some pics of this car, it ran WRC in the early 90's. Also, has anyone ever painted their street car like this? :D illGT4 12-12-2003, 12:09 AM I have some I can post on my website. Give me a day or two, I'll have them all up. I have quite a few. I am working on Red / Green Castrol graphics on my white ST185. :D Later, Chris illGT4 12-12-2003, 12:10 AM btw where are you from? I take it you are a fan of the GT-Four. That's cool, me too if you couldn't tell. Later, chris http://way.to/celica.gtfour Future Boy 12-13-2003, 01:02 AM I live in Traverse City, in northern Michigan, USA. With all the hills, curvy roads and snow, I could really use a GT-Four :D But you can't get them over here :( Be nice to build one, but that would probably be as costly as importing one, which I'm guessing would be easily over $10,000 I actually really like the ST-205, too. If I had a Celica, I'd paint it like the Castrol Rally cars :D illGT4 12-13-2003, 01:10 AM WHAT?! Why the hell don't you get an All-Trac??? It IS the same thing!! :) (ST165 and ST185) In fact I can't believe you don't have one already, living in Michigan!!! Future Boy 12-13-2003, 01:23 AM True, a nice 90-93 All-Trac goes for anywhere from three to five thousand, but try FINDING one! :( illGT4 12-13-2003, 01:28 AM how many do you want? I can find you alltracs all day long. 88-89 for $1500-4000 90-93 for $4000-9000 Seriously, if you want one, I can find you a few. Chris ST185 http://way.to/celica.gtfour illGT4 12-13-2003, 01:45 AM A few on autotrader: http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=150656683&dealer_id=&car_year=1988&make=TOYOTA&distance=300&max_price=6000&model=CELICA&advcd_on=n&end_year=1993&min_price=1&first_record=26&address=49686&search_type=used&advanced=n&start_year=1988&=&color=&cardist=222 http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=136553893&dealer_id=&car_year=1988&make=TOYOTA&distance=300&max_price=6000&model=CELICA&advcd_on=n&end_year=1993&min_price=1&first_record=26&address=49686&search_type=used&advanced=n&start_year=1988&=&color=&cardist=244 both ST165. With 300 miles or less. more if you want.. I am highly involved with the GT-Four community. :) I could probably find 5 more in just a couple hours. You just have to know where to look. (and a ST205 would cost $10,000 or less for the car, but the legalization is the bastard) Future Boy 12-13-2003, 01:52 AM Yeah I was just checking Autotrader- a black 185 for $7500, and a white one for $6000, a bit out of my price range for at least the next six months. But I'd rather wait that long and get one I like :) How many All-Tracs did they import to the states 90-93? I thought it was something like 2500? BTW, I just checked out your site, AWESOME car! Some Castrol graphics and a roll cage, and you're all set! :D illGT4 12-13-2003, 02:05 AM Thanks for the comliment on my car. Let me know if you ever need any help finding an Alltrac. Yes, not too many Alltrac between 90-93: US Sales Year Units 1990 803 1991 591 1992 271 1993 81 Total 1,746 Regards, CHris Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
