Newbie, Help with lift kits.....Posey88cvic4dr 12-09-2003, 09:44 PM AS you can probably tell by the name, I am new to Jeeps, but since I now attend school near Boone, NC I purchased an 88 Jeep Cherokee 4WD. I am looking to lift it and add some tires but I want to make sure i do it the correct way. I've heard I shouldn't go over a 3" lift. I'm trying to get the best for my money and any help would be appreciated. It's bigger coils for the front and add-a-leafs for the rear. I have the shocks, too, if you want them (I didn't like 'em). Shipping would be a bit more. It was used for 4 years and is good shape with all of the hardware. Let me know by leaving a private message. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
