Question HVAC Fan

My interior fan adjustment has five settings. The first two - 'very low and low' do not work bu the next three speeds work fine. Is this difficult to repair?

Re: HVAC Fan

Sounds like a blower resistor. Easy to replace...

Re: HVAC Fan

I was having the exact same problem, then today the rest of the speeds stopped working as well. Bill V mentioned a blower resistor which was what I was thinking since I had the exact same problem on an old 4Runner I used to have. Replaced the resistor and all was fine. Anyway, where is the resistor located, and about how much is the part? Thanks.
