maybe look into the s12 200sx. they are either v6 (gay, dont get it too heavy), turbo 4 (weak), or n/a 4 (even weaker). but they might be a good beginner drift car. i dont know too much about them tho....

the car doesn't matter.
it's the driver.
and don't just expect to jump into drifting and be good right away. it will take YEARS.

i have a 94' supra TT six speed veilside kit, erubani raceing hood(carbon fiber), SSR 18"s wrapped in khumos, HKS coilovers, TRD strut tower bar, greedy aluninum pedals, tom's shift knob and a short shift kit and a personal racing steering wheel (thats pretty much it for dress up and suspension) as for performance i have BlitZ blow off valve, Blitz intercooler, HKS intake, Blitz boost gauge ( in 3 pod gauge with oil and temp.),Blitz boost control, HKS cat back exhaust and downpipe. thats prettty much my car. its all white with a black targa top. i busted up my FLUG hood when the latch broke so im puting on the carbon one. it also has a veilside wing, but its very ugly, i might get a rod millen carbon fiber, but im not sure yet on which wing i want to get to replace the ugly one.

ive drifted some with my supra, im getting okay at it, i just wanted to see some opinions on some LIGHTER cars that drift well. and im starting to like Nissans (silvias+skylines).ive been driving (racing) cars for 4 years now. im starting automotive school next month, and im selling cars right now for money, i might open a web site for my business, i plan to customize cars. i do body work (starting to) and i install custom audio systems ( pretty basic stuff right now, plan to learn fiberglass work.) I also have a 95 3000GT base ( got it for 2,000-hell of a deal)

tell me the last time you saw a boost guage add power...... what you listed here wouldn't make it "brutally fast" at all. Lets see some pics of this brutally fast supra.
