The question is the subject. Im looking for another L05 as a rebuild project for my caprice, or maybe to purchase new. I hear these engines are kind of rare and may be diffucult to find used.

I havent the time nor the money to put an LT-1 in my Caprice, I cant afford a different tranny as well. So I want to get another L05 and put some coin into the internals, and I will have a direct bolt-in when my engine gives up completely.

Anyone got a L05 with any internal mods? What mods should I do to it, or are best suited to it?

It will be staying TBI and will not be on the bottle.

As for external mods, I already have a CAI, Custom Exhaust, MSD ignition, and a new TB on the way.

Thanks for any info
