i am having a hard time finding rear struts. It is a wagon, The struts from the dealer dont work. It has Gabriel struts and i cant find them anywere. Anyone know were i can get them, I am located in Illinois.
Any help is appreciated

I've had this problem too. Gabriel used to have them available, but now it my supplier says they are unavailable. Likewise the other companies (Monroe, Cofap, Sachs, Boge, etc) don't carry them for the wagon. The correct VW part number should be 309-513-029-01 and was available when I got them 6 mos. ago.

one very good site I always get my struts for my 90 Fox - motorworks.com - they have quick shipping (one week tops) and the prices are very reasonable (20-30 each I believe)
