Trailblazer will not start
My 2002 Trailblazer is in the shop for the third time because it will not start. I jump in, turn the key, all instrument lights go on, headlights on, yet you hear nothing. Tow driver puts a jump on it but nothing. Took it to dealer twice and they say they can not find anything wrong. Any ideas ??

Re: Trailblazer will not start
There are 2 GM technical bulletins concerning intermittant no start conditions on your vehicle...have the dealer reference #02-08-64-017 and #02-06-03-001
The most difficult and frustrating part about intermittant problems are they are hard to duplicate..if you can't duplicate the complaint, you can't fix the problem

Trailblazer will not start
Tennis - you are not alone!!!
I bought an '03 Trailblazer in October. November, after driving more than 2 hours, it would not restart for 45 minutes. On other occassions, this has happened. It's been in the shop 6 times, but malfunctioned total of 10.
Now....I took a 400 mile trip and at my destination in Tunica, MS, I vallet parked the truck. After 4 hours, I went to retrieve it and they asked me if I had a Kill Switch. Uh oh. After trying my magic of disconnecting the battery, as usual, the truck still did not start. I waited 5 hours and tried again. No luck.
This was 3 days ago. On-Star and the dealer have done MULTIPLE diagnostics. On one SINGLE occasion, On-Star said that the Powertrain Control Module was malfunctioning. My truck is still in Tunica, MS and I am home, 400 miles away. Nobody knows what to do. I feel your pain, brother. I am paying $580 per month on my Trailblazer and they got me in a Cavalier with 40k plus miles on it.

To many keys???
I'm having the same problem, jump in to go and nothing... The latest is that I tilted my steering wheel up and it killed the engine.
When I bought my '03 LT, I was having a key made for my wife at the dealer and the lady behind the counter said you better take those other keys off (I had 3-4 other keys) or your key switch will fail. (I had 3 yrs of warranty, so I disregarded her...) I have also seen it mentioned on the board a few times, that having to many keys will cause it to fail.
Now, with ~1000 miles left on my warranty and my truck in the shop for the second time because of this, can the "to many keys" theory be true? I would hope Chevy could design a key switch that could handle a few keys hanging from it!!!

Re: Trailblazer will not start
The extra keys theory, I believe is based on the weight rotating the switch back slightly to off, but wouldn't hold up for the no start condition, which could just be a bad ign switch.
