I need to remove the dashboard from my 2001 GC Sport, and of course the manual and the Haynes manual are both useless. I suspect from what I have done so far that removing the console bezel is the key, but have been unable to figure it out.

Anyone have directions for removing the dashboard/console bezel?

Thanks,
Bill

Jusst below the bezel and above the ashtray/cup holder is a small trim plate. Use a flathead screwdriver and gently pry it loose. There are 2 philips screws located behind this plate that need to be removed. Grabbed the bottom of the bezel and with a little pressure pull the bezel towards you to dislodge the 2 side clip and the 2 top clips. You will have at least 4 wiring plugs plugged into the backside of the bezel. Slide the red locking-tabs back and depress each black tab that is now uncovered. The radio is held in place with 4 philips screws, remove them. Pull the radio towards you and disconnect the 7-pin black and 7-pin gray radio plugs. Undo the ground wire and disconnect the antenna plug. Are you having a specific problem with your 2001? If so, you may not need to remove the whole dash. I also have a 2001 Grand Caravan Sport and I work at the Windsor Assy. plant that makes these minivans. Let me know what trouble you are having and I will try to help you out with it.
