Rally Corolla Progress (pics)

Got this today. Made by Hasegawa. I'm really surprised with the parts this car has. Photoetched parts, seat belt material(and mudflap). Here are just a few pics.

This is going to be my first rally car and I might even try my hand at weathering it a little bit. More pics to come

Minor Update. Got some of the suspension painted.

I'm actually thinking about making this my own custom rally car rather than the Tein car.

Re: 1998 Asia-Pacific Rally Champion Toyota Corolla

Good luck with the build, you should enjoy it. Hasegawa provide lots of extra goodies to detail things up nicely. I hope they release some more rally kits soon, been a while since their last one.

My opinion: don't do a custom, build it like the real car, it is a champion afterall!

I just went out to primer it and I noticed all my paints and 2 cans of primer are gone. My mother doesnt know where they are either. Looks like this might be a longer project than I had figured it to be.

Update, got the suspension onto the chassis. Since I dont have the proper paints, I lighty used some testors plastic cement to put the drivetrain and under brush guard on.
