I bought some indiglo guages. they are circular and are supposed to fit over the needles them selves....well, when i installed them, the area that the wire comes out of to light them up, actually like folds them up a little when you place the gauge cluster piece over them and secure it. then they tie up the needle and the needles stick or dont read right. is there anyone who has correctly found a way to secure these down without permanently damaging the guage console?

Your best bet would be superglue. If you plan on selling your car and the person doesnt like them, you can always buy a used guage cluster and have it recalibrated.

use double sided scotch tape, it's not as permanent as super glue, it's what i used.

Will that hold? The superglue is starting to losen or something and the needles are having trouble moving around. Pisses me off, seriously... keep having to take those damn things off and put them on again...

yeah the super glue i tried that and it like wouldn't stick to the stock gages, but the tape works great.

hey buddy about the indiglo gauges. heres the problem, they are gay. i have them too and i got them installed.... they bubbled up on me and i have tried everything to keep them down. i have no tach, or speedometer as of now. i took my car back to the place i got them installed (shoulda f-ed it up myself) and they go okay we'll fix it. one day later and a 20 buck bill... nothing changed... so heres what you have to do (or what i am doing now) making my parents spend 400 bucks on a new cluster cause i want to know how fast i am going. really really really really gay! i hate those things!

They charged you to fix something they fucked up? Thats typical, f*ckin crooks. Anyways, I've seen them burn out too easily, I dont know if theyre worth it in the long run.

does anybody else's guages like to freeze up when its like 30 or lower degrees. im not sure if my guages are stock or not ( bought my car 3 wks ago)

Same thing happened o me and now i have a new cluster because I got tired of taking them apart etc. Now I have stock gauges again and I think that is how they will stay LOL

Did you have to have them set to the amount of miles on your car? Cause the superglue stuck to some stuff and sort of broke it. sucks huh . I keep taking them apart too, but I think I've got it. Yeah, like 97teg said, when it gets cold, thats when the needles tend to get stuck. Im trying the tape, it seems good so far.

i just used nail glue from my girl. it works great!! i have yet to have any reading probs. try that. i have had the gauges for alittle over a year now.

I was thinking about getting the indiglo lights for my 97 teg but I was on ebay and found these lights you can install instead of the indiglos. It's a little different cause you're not replacing gauges...but it works perfectly fine and gives my car a hot a$$ look.
