If you have an area on the vehicle you can try without worrying about the paint I'd try some WD-40 sprayed on a rag. It worked real well on getting the rubber off a previous car I had. It will leave a clean looking spot if you do this on a fiberglass or plastic painted portion of a bumper so that is the reason I would suggest trying on a spot that can't be seen before just using any where. On metal portion of the car I've also had luck with WD-40 removing items such as rubber or light tar. Just be cautious of what you rub it on before you go full boar at cleaning a big spot. Other items I've used are Oxy Clean Orange paste. No problem with paint on what I used it on but again try in an area where you can't see just in case. sports32mx 12-27-2003, 02:30 AM used: meguairs cleaner-wax, on a piece of cloth put plenty of wax and just rub the area, it wont damage your paint, and the stains will dissapear. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
