my 94 DX 160K has a wearing drivers side manual window. There is ALOT of play in the crank and now I feel some resistance when winding up.

Does anyone know what is replacable inside the door before i take the door panel off(those damn things never seem to go back on as good as they were before you take them off.)

Can I go to a junk yard and find any honda and take parts for it.
I just want the thing to work, I don't care what it looks like.

is it just a lube thing, is there something to lubricate?

I remember I was driving an 86 spectrum and the crank broke, it would turn and click, but the window was stuck down. I guess there is a gear there that wears.

If you need new window parts, goto a junkyard and find the same generation/same body style and it should fit just fine.

If it is hard to crank up and down, just take off the door panel, and spray some silicone lube on the moving parts until they free up. I had to do this on my 2000 dx because often I'm the only one in there so the other windows never get used, and those parts dry up.

Shet dood, when I took my tints off, mine would hardly come up. One day I pulled on it too much, and the window basically exploded. I recommend not trying to force it back up. By doing that, the regulator got bent, and now when I roll the window down, I can't roll it back up. I actually have to pull the window back up, and allign it. It took the guy not more than 20 min to fix it, so it's not that hard.
