Does anyone know anywhere you can get a twin turbo kit for the wrx? Even if it's a custom kit, anyone help me ???
Thanx

It is physically possible, but I have to ask why you'd want it?

I don't know of any pre-made kits, but I would think it's not that hard to design. Think of the way exhaust comes out of the car: It comes out the bottom of the car in four places, gets piped to the left, up through the turbo and down out the back. Now, if instead of the gas being vented to the left of the engine to the single turbo, it was vented two ways: 2c to the left, 2c to the right, you could theoretically put a turbo on each side. Go for a side-middle-side front mount intercooler (air is forced in each side and forced out the center back towards the intake manifold) to cool the gasses. Of course, ridiculous ECU tuning would be in order. You could make both turbos VF34s, for example, to get full boost by 3200-3500rpm.

What I've described is a sure-fire way to blow up your engine, transmission, etc. I'd never try it, but if you have the knowledge, go for it. One still wonders why, though.

Don't do it. 2.0 on twin turbo? how much top end do you want?

but if you absolute have to go that route, look for legacy B4 engine.

I agree with both of you.. this is not for my car..
A buddy of mine recently purchased a wrx and is willing to build a custom twin for it.. but was much more interested in buying an existing one.. just thought I would ask around..
Thanx guys..

There is a twin turbo kit for the 2.5RS that you could fit, although there might be conflicts with the piping, that's an easy fix. Or just take the setup off a B4 Legacy.

A twin-turbo 2.0 liter isn't a great idea if you're looking for flat out speed. Someone here mentioned using twin vf34. That's a bad idea.... a vf34 being pushed by 4 cylinders in an ej20 spools at about 3200 rpm... imagine it on half as many cylinders! The lag would be horrible and you wouldn't end up with enough power to make anyone happy. You would need to use 2 small turbos (maybe 2 of the stock tdo4-13g) in order to get that thing spooled up in any decent amount of time. Even then, the power you would make wouldn't justify the cost of making such a system. The only way to really have a twin setup work would be to find a way to raise the redline on the engine a fairly significant amount. Then you might have a decent powerband. It seems like a lot of investment for something that onyl might work.

Instead, go with a single turbo setup. If you want an all-around turbo, try the vf34.... if you want a monster highway turbo, pe1820 or fp20g or sr40....

The cylinder heads from cobb tuning boost redline to 8500rpm.
