Hi,

The other day my wife stripped the threads on the driver side wiper arm and motor shaft. The dealers are asking almost $400 to replace this. Is this a doable for a semi-competant mechanic? I am accustomed to US brands and not sure how forgiving the Honda will be.

BTW its a '98 Civic hatchback DX
