Finished: Toyota TS020 GT1 show livery.Veyron 11-20-2003, 03:48 PM I built this car curbside style, no engine, I'm getting enough detail practice on my 288 GTO! The Toyota GT1 is painted in Tamiya TS49 and has some Sakatsu body rivets, wheel nuts, fuel fillers and antenna, Museum Collection decals, Toyota emblem and seatbelts, Scale Motorsport carbon decals. Everything fit pretty well except for the windshield. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt19.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt18.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt16.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt14.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt15.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt13.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt12.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt111.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt110.JPG http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/40503gt11.JPG 360spider 11-20-2003, 03:58 PM Looks great Brian, top notch paintjob, but... is this a Mazda emblem in the front? Jay, the GTone decals are from the Museum Collection set. I'll use the streaky stripes on something else someday. willimo 11-21-2003, 01:34 AM That is just beautiful. No, really, just beautiful. I'm always just a little disappointed to see race cars without their full racing livery (I like them, but.. you know..) Except for this one, it is the exception to my rule. It looks just fantastic in the pure red and the CF. Your model captures the grace and simple beauty that is the GT-one without sacrificing the undeniably muscular and high tech underpinnings that made it all possible. This just might be my single favoritest model to date. Top notch! Good work! I can't praise it enough. hrmodeler 11-21-2003, 02:53 AM It's very nice! primera man 11-21-2003, 05:02 AM Outstanding paint job !!
