Does anyone have a ballpark figure what a headgasket replacement on a 22re in a standard 2wd p/u will cost? I am located in TN, preferrably staying away from a shop

$24.99 plus tax if your state has any. If you do that you might want to get a intake manifold gasket which costs that same.
I just got done with mine and you should know if you don't already that the head bolt torque down prodedure is different than the removal, what I mean is that the correct torq rotation is different than when you remove or loosen the head bolts.
