a question for those with 98-02 accords...liquid51 11-17-2003, 10:35 PM I just recently finished swapping a Euro R h22 into my 89 prelude and it hasn't been running right. I just figured out the other day that I need to switch my IAC valve to a 2 pin style (the euro r h22 had a 3 pin and my ecu, p30, cannot run a 3 pin). I know that 4 cylinder accords (98-02) also use a 3 pin IACV, so I figured I'd see if anyone here knows. The 3 pin IACV has a vacuum line running off the back of it towards the block, just under the intake manifold. The new, 2 pin IACV has no vacuum port. I don't know what that vac line is for and what I need to do with it. Should I cap it off? Or should I provide vacuum to it? Any help would really be appreciated greatly. Thanks flatline 11-18-2003, 09:52 PM Hey, Im not entirely sure what that line is for, but i do know my friend tried capping it and lost serious power. I'll try to find out if he knew why that was. Im just remembering him being all annoyed because of it. liquid51 11-18-2003, 11:31 PM ooh yes. please do find out for me. That would be a great help. Thank you.
