Question Comparison Camry 3.0 six and 3.3 six...

-Is the 3.3 Liter engine used in the Camry SE just a larger bore than the 3.0 Liter used for years or is it a different engine?
-Also, does the 3.3 have a timing belt like the 3.0?
-What happens if the timing belt on the 3.0 breaks? Does it ruin the engine or just quit running until replaced?
Thanks,
Ray

what year is you camry? from what i understand on the newer camry's if the timing belt is a non interfrence belt. so if it broke it wouldn't ruin your engine but i don't think you could drive it.

Thumbs up Camry is a SE2004 3.3.

I am considering buying a SE 2004 Camry which has the 3.3 V6 with 5 speed auto.

Thanx
Ray
