I was thinking of getting it, the guy will sell it to me for $300, but the only thing is, it has bent valves, is it worth buying and fixing it?

If you even consider this-, get a D15B7 head from a 88-91 Civic/CRX DX
the 12 valve head in the 83-87 isnt worth saving.Hook the carbureted intake manifold from the 12 valve, and swap it to the 16 valve head,its that simple.

I don't think the motor mounts will work with a 88-91 civic. Those thinks are ugly save some money a get a 88-91 civic. I am selling a 1991 DX for 2400 obo. Hit me up thanks,

Is that even possible? The 12 valve EW manifold has auxiliary intake runners and a coolant passage.

Im not looking to spend alot of money for a winter beater, as long as it gets me through the winter I will be happy, and other suggestions on a car? Under $800!
