I have a 95 civic ex sedan, all stock motor. The first thing iam going to do is put a G reddy turbo in it, and i want to know if it would damage the stock motor? Would it better to just start with smaller motifications and then work my way up to a turbo?

Also the motor is in good condition and well maintained.

Any input would be greatfull.

It shouldent if u run the psi low but if u plan to push some insane boost u might want to rebuild the block or swap it out or a ITR motor.
if u rebuild the bottom you could be able to produce over 300 hp /w some fuel air adjustments and a few mods.
but if u have the cash to spend i would drop the ITR in and use that.

why would you want an ITR motor if you're boosting?
it's a high compression motor.

the stock EX motor can handle some power, just tune it correctly.

if you're swapping, but in a b18 (non_ITR) or an ls/vtec setup, or even a cr-vtec. if you don't know what they are, you should really be in the civic forum for these questions.

it's all been gone over, and THOROUGHLY, there.
