Re: daytime running lights

No. They intentionally buried the circuit deep into other stuff to make it nearly impossible to disconnect due to the public controversy. They already knew a lot of people didn't like them and would try. This has also been gone over many times on GMForums. There is a dedicated fuse marked "DRL" but if you yank it out I think it affects other things. Try it.

Re: Re: daytime running lights

If nothing's getting hot and/or melting, and no fuses are blowing, it's probably fine.

Re: daytime running lights

i like having control of my options to turn things on or off and don't like the idea of the government deciding for me. or burning low beams at 1/3 power thus burning out my bulbs early. i believe they should be separate bulbs like gm trucks #3157LL, their cheaper than headlight bulbs.

on my buddy's 97 Chevy pickup if you want DRL off just push the park brake to the first click.
