Umm.. try following the fuel line... Just a guess :sly:

The fuel filter is on the firewall next to the brake booster - called the local Mazda ppl - around 40.00 for the filter - advice was cheaper.

well that means the 1.6 and 1.8 fuel filter are in the same location

isnt the V6 fuel filter on the tranny on a mounting bracket in the back?

well it's not on the firewall but very near..it's behind the engine a little on the right side..near th tranny..we probably talking about the same thing
